We have been established for over 15 years in Hemel Hempstead and are now advising and helping not only many of our original clients, but also their children too. We are regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales so you can be sure that we maintain quality standards. Our two directors Sally Bevan and Robert Masters FCA have, between them, over 70 years experience so they can draw on a wealth of experience. We also have 2 formally qualified and three other team members qualified by experience who have over 60 years of experience between them.

Fees

Each of us is unique – that’s why we provide a quote just for you at our initial meeting when we find out your precise requirements.

However, in general in annual fees you can expect to pay about £200 for a basic employed person’s Tax Return, about £250 if you rent out property, about £350 if you are self employed. Partnerships are from £750 and Limited Companies from £1,000.

Once you have decided we are the right choice for you, you may be wondering whether your previous accountant will willingly hand over all your tax and other records – relax, all accountants are expected to forward the relevant paperwork and records within a reasonable amount of time by their professional bodies. Even we have to do this sometimes!

Either you can, or we will, break the news to your previous accountant.

How much will the accountant charge to provide any handover information?

There should not be a charge for this.

If I have paid my accountant in full, should I just wait until they have completed the work before switching accountants?

You can change accountants at any point in time; however, we suggest you discuss this with us and we can advise you the most painless time to switch – normally just before or just after the annual work has been completed.
